Undergraduate Programs

Three active undergraduate programs exist in both Gurd Shola and  Piassa Adebaby Campuses. All undergraduate programs have the following general admission and graduation requirements.

1.     Admission requirements

Applicants for admission to the Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance, Business Management and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology programs must satisfy any of the following criteria:

A.    Preparatory Completed Program Students

·       The Ministry of Education set the cut-off points.

·       The AIC legislation of the College, or

·       A pass mark in the entrance examination set by the College.

B.    Diploma (12+2/10+3) and TVET 10+3 Completed Students

·       TVET level IV certification from a recognized institution;

·       National-Level COC Certification

·       A minimum of one year work experience;

·       A diploma with a 10+3 or 12+2 certification from a recognized institution

C.    For Degree Holders

·       BA, BSc, or above degree certification from a recognized institution in any profession.

·       Official document sent from the degree-offering institution

·       Additional admission criteria set by the College

D.    For international students:

·      BA, BSc, and above degree certification from a recognized institution in any profession;

·      Equivalence Certificate issued and authenticated by ETA;

·      Residence permit;

·      Additional admission criteria set by the College

E.    Student transfer:

·       A transfer from a recognized college in the same field

·       Based on the legislation of the College

·       Additional admission criteria set by the College

F.    In cases of high competition for admission, the following issues will be considered:

·       Grade 12 Higher Education Entrance Examination Results and Completion Year;

·       Grade point average at graduation;

·       Additional training after graduation

·       Work experience and supporting letter from employer(s)

·       Gender and disability issues

·       Entrance examination result.

2.     Mode of Delivery and Medium Instruction

The program will be delivered in regular and extension modes. The medium of instruction for the program is the English language.

3.     Duration of Programs

·       The duration program for all programs is four years for regular students and five years for extension students.

3. Graduation requirements

       The candidate must satisfy the general requirements needed by the Andinet International College for graduation. Specifically, he/she should attain a minimum major grade point average (MGPA) and cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.0.

       All graduating students should fulfil the required courses, projects, senior essays (if applicable) and the minimum credit hours set by the respective department.

4.     DEGREE NOMENCLATURE

 4.1. Accounting and Finance

The degree awarded after successful completion of the program is called:

·       In English: “Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and Finance”

·       In Amharic : “የአርት ባችለር ዲግሪ በአካውንቲንግና ፋይናንስ

4.2. Business Management

The degree awarded after successful completion of the program is called:

? In English – “Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management.”

? In Amharic የባችለር አርት ዲግሪበቢዝነስ ማኔጅመንት

4.3. Information Technology

English:   Degree of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology 

 Amharic:  የሳይንስ ባችለር ዲግሪ በኢንፎርሜሽን ቴክኖሎጂ
