Andinet International College Holds Its 2nd Monthly Seminar
Andinet International College commenced a Monthly Seminar in April 2024. It endeavors to make this its culture where academic matters are liberally presented and discussed to share experiences and to enhance quality education and training, and research focusing on relevant global and local issues.
Upon the directive of the Managing Council of the College, Research and Community Service Office organized the first and the second seminars which were very colorful and productive. The first Seminar was conducted on the 11th of April, 2024, where Dr. Worku Negash, President of the College, was the speaker on the topic The California Higher Education System which was very insightful and motivational. The second Monthly Seminar held on May 9, 2024, on the topic Higher Education Dynamics in Ethiopia, was presented by Mr. Temesgen Enyew, Dean of the College.
Andinet International College humbly hosted its second Monthly Seminar, delving into the dynamics of higher education in Ethiopia. The event, centered on the theme “Higher Education Dynamics in Ethiopia (Public and Private)”, welcomed guests of management team, faculty, and graduating students to engage in insightful discussion.
The Seminar was kick-started by a thought-provoking presentation from Mr. Temesgen Enyew, shedding light on various aspects of higher education in the country. His comprehensive analysis served as a catalyst for the subsequent discussions and reflections.
The presence of the College President, Dr. Worku Negash, and the Executive Vice President, Dr. Demewoz Admasu, further glorified the Seminar. Dr. Worku Negash, in his closing remark, articulated constructive ideas about the higher education system in Ethiopia, emphasizing the importance of educational freedom and innovation in shaping the future landscape of the academy. His visionary insights sparked contemplation and dialogue among participants, encouraging them to envision a more robust and inclusive educational ecosystem.
Dr. Demewoz Admasu, the moderator and key speaker, expertly guided the proceedings of the Seminar. His profound knowledge and experience in the field provided invaluable perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing higher education in Ethiopia. Through engaging discourse and interactive sessions, Dr. Demewoz facilitated a platform for stakeholders to exchange ideas, share best practices, and collectively explore solutions to enhance the quality and accessibility of higher education across the nation.
